Ms Dewi Hartaty Suratty Founder Chief Executive Officer

Ms Dewi Suratty is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dawn Horizon Pte Ltd and a recognised leader in the global halal industry. With over two decades of experience in ecosystem development, business growth, and public policy, she has played a key role in advancing Singapore’s halal sector and strengthening its position in the global Islamic economy. She previously served as Director overseeing halal at the Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS) and as Chief Executive Officer of Warees Halal Limited, where she led the development of progressive halal standards and industry initiatives that supported sectoral growth. Dewi has contributed to several regional and national bodies, including the ASEAN Working Group on Halal Food and the Singapore Food Standards Committee. Her work has been recognised with awards such as the Ministry of Trade and Industry Commendation Award and the Innovation FRONTIER Award. She holds an MBA (Distinction) from the University of Hull and a degree in Food Science and Technology from the National University of Singapore.
