Mr Zafarjon Khotamov is a senior development professional with more than 25 years of international experience in strategic planning, policy development, results management, private sector development, and halal industry ecosystem development. He currently serves with the Islamic Development Bank, where he has held senior specialist positions in strategy, operations quality, policy, and halal industry development. He holds an MBA in Finance and an MA in Economics from California State University, Hayward, and a Master of Public Policy from Graduate Institute for Policy Studies. Throughout his career, he has worked with leading institutions including the Asian Development Bank and the National Bank of Tajikistan. Mr. Khotamov is widely recognized for pioneering work in halal industry ecosystem development, strategic management, and sustainable economic growth, and frequently speaks at international forums on halal economy, SDGs, and development strategy.
