Dato Ruslan bin Abdul Ghani is the President and Group Chief Executive Officer of Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB). With more than 32 years of leadership experience, he has built a distinguished career in corporate transformation, strategic leadership, and operational excellence. Prior to joining BPHB, Dato Ruslan served in several senior leadership positions with PETRONAS in Malaysia and internationally, including as Chief Executive Officer of Petronas Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn. Bhd. His extensive international experience in Turkmenistan, Sudan, and Iraq has equipped him with strong strategic, commercial, and cross-cultural leadership capabilities. Since assuming leadership at BPHB, he has introduced a clear three-pronged strategy focused on strengthening the core port business, expanding beyond-port ventures, and advancing net-zero carbon energy initiatives. Under his leadership, the organisation continues to prioritise port digitalisation, operational excellence, and sustainable long-term growth, reinforcing Bintulu Port’s position as a leading integrated port and logistics hub.
